Human's lust
Devours our purities
Making greed the center
Of communities
The need
The want
Steadily consuming
The light-hearted thinking
That was so rare
Even in the beginning
But what is this lust?
The thoughts of possession?
Do we have a cure
For this mental aggression
The greed is engraved
On the surface of our souls
We all have a need; an obsession
Whose hold on us is stronger than our own
Bending our wills to conform
To its superficial grasp
The heart craves
What the mind knows
It can't have
